Hello and welcome to 2015 everyone! It is hard to believe that 15 years ago Y2K came and went without any excitement, High-Speed Internet was still yet a dream and REM was still on the radio.
It is now 15 years later and the world has changed so much, and so has CODE. Over the past year, we have tripled in size, updated our website and added a new logo to the mix. If this is your first time here, then we hope you enjoy your visit, and if you have been here before, then we hope you enjoy the remodel!
However, those are not the only new things around here. We have some big plans for the New Year and we really want to take you along for the ride! Make sure you are stopping by on a regular basis so you don’t miss a thing! The first thing we want to make you aware of is our theme for the year. This year’s theme is “Let Your Light Shine!”
Matthew 5:14-16 says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
In this new year, we at CODE are striving to act in a way that lets the light of Christ shine through us to the world around us.
Join us in making this verse a part of our lives today and every day. Let’s let our lights shine and be a positive influence on such a dark world. We can start a ripple effect now that echoes into eternity!
