Honor in God’s Timing

Scripture: “What honor and recognition has Mordecai received for this?” the king asked. “Nothing has been done for him,” his attendants answered. -Esther 6:3
Power Chapter: Esther 6

You might feel a lot like Mordecai today: consistently doing all you can, caring too much, and praying crazy prayers. Oh, and maybe without being appreciated for it in earthly terms. As you read this chapter, you’ll find that Mordecai received the recognition he was due, in perfect timing. His enemy was ordered to parade him around town on a royal horse, wearing a royal robe, declaring his honor. God doesn’t short you in reward for your obedience and diligent love. He sees you and appreciates you more than you can comprehend. He’s got a plan and the love you pour out in action will be demonstrated back to you tangibly when you need it the most. His kindness is faithful. Hang in there and keep fighting the good fight. The reward of your labor will not slip God’s mind.
